Jason Baker has extensive local and regional experience in Santa Clara County, serving as Mayor of Campbell, twice, and leading on critical regional issues. Jason is dedicated to advocating for these issues.
Jason has broad experience with transportation and traffic relief. Jason was an early and key Leader on 2016’s Measure B, the $6.3 Billion traffic relief and transportation measure. He helped shape the expenditure plan, voted to put it on the ballot and helped get it passed.
Jason is committed to our environment. He helped lead nine cities in a groundbreaking effort to adopt the Community Choice Energy, offering valley residents a choice of cleaner power: 100% carbon-free, cleaner, greener electricity at competitive rates.

A focus of Jason’s career in public service has been working to help make sure our region is prepared for man-made and natural disasters. Jason was unanimously selected by his peers to serve as Chair of the Santa Clara County Emergency Preparedness Council, a county-wide body with representatives from all 15 cities.
Jason’s dedication to public health issues earned him a 2016 Healthy Cities Champion Award from the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health. Jason worked to help all cities in the County do better on public health issues including healthy transportation options like biking and walking, reducing tobacco use, and encouraging healthy food and beverages.
Jason got his start in Campbell public policy volunteering on a ballot measure to help the County library system get the funding it needed to continue its world-class service.
